Hey hey, it’s me, Daria...

a Ukrainian girl from Kyiv, saved by Vancouver Island from the war, started in Feb 2022. Creating my very new life here, on the island that I didn’t even know existed.

The loving, caring, and supportive Canadian people around made me truly feel that I can be useful here. Can you imagine? On the completely opposite side of the globe.

Back home, I had over 4 years of marketing experience, from running businesses and leading sales teams to promoting Members of Parliament and successfully heading social media election campaigns. Additionally, for 4 years, I ran my own business, starting at 21 years old and expanding from 1 location to 4 across different cities in Ukraine, adding 1 location within a year.

In my first year in Canada…, I worked for a prominent Auto Group in BC as a Marketing Coordinator. Simultaneously, I managed social media and marketing efforts for three dealerships on Vancouver Island. I was proud to win the West Hyundai Canada Advertisement Social Media Video Contest and was honored as the Employee of the Month...

After a year, I decided to carve my own path and founded DMARKETING, collaborating with my Ukrainian team back home on projects here in Canada. Most of my team, including programmers, designers, and advertisement specialists, is now based in Ukraine. This serves as a motivating factor for me to contribute to my country and support my people, especially during times of need.
